Patra Announces New Chief Revenue Officer

EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. — Patra Corporation has hired Bob Murphy, a leader from the financial technology services industry, as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In the newly created position, Murphy, will oversee sales, marketing and strategic direction for the company, a leading provider of technology-enabled business process solutions for the insurance industry.

As CRO, Murphy will leverage his proven track record for generating revenue growth, developing new markets, launching products and driving channel partnerships to help manage and continue that growth. Murphy will also guide Patra as it scales its business, develops new technologies and continues to provide top-level service to its customers.
Murphy brings 35 years of professional experience as a leader, innovator and technologist. He previously served as the CRO for Cloud Lending Solutions and has held numerous leadership positions in the financial technology services industry, including Monitise and FIS. Murphy also worked alongside Patra CEO John Simpson as vice president of marketing and alliances at CyberBills.

Murphy has a BSME in engineering from Oregon State University and an M.B.A. from Saint Mary’s College of California.
