Implementation Account Manager

Position Overview

We have an opening for an Implementation Account Manager on a small team responsible for process implementation, account management, and knowledge transfer at a rapidly-growing international business process outsourcer (BPO). Patra Corporation is currently headquartered in San Carlos, CA, and we will be moving our headquarters to Novato, CA in January 2010. We are a five-year old, profitable company. Our customers include more than 25 of the hundred largest insurance brokers in the U.S. We provide insurance brokerage account management services, and operate our BPO subsidiary out of Visakhapatnam, India. We have a core team of employees in the U.S., and approximately 160 employees at our office in India.

The insurance brokerage back office administrative service performed by the Indian teams include certificate issuance, policy checking, loss run ordering, renewals, process auditing, direct bill reconciliation, and a host of other services. The list of services continues to grow as our customers ask us to perform more services.

Location

This position is based in San Francisco, CA.  However it offers significant opportunity to work from a home office located within the Bay Area.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (liberal arts or business preferred)
  • Experience in the insurance broker or carrier world
  • Extensive Windows and Internet application experience
  • Excellent written and verbal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving ability
  • High-level project management, organizational or planning ability
  • Works well with customers, in teams, and independently
  • Can lead requirements gathering groups
  • Comfortable with up to 40% domestic and international travel
  • Interest in or familiarity with Indian language, culture, or business is useful, but not required    

Responsibilities

  • Interview customers and gather requirements
  • Analyze and document customer requirements
  • Design high-level business process workflows
  • Set up supporting software systems
  • Organize project rollouts
  • Train production operations team on business process & customer interaction
  • Convert projects to production and handoff to operations management
  • Support process enhancements over time
  • Manage implemented accounts
  • Work closely with existing accounts to build relationships and grow customers' adoption of Patra's services
  • Up to 40% domestic and international travel required

Compensation

Negotiable, pending qualifications, experience, and fit with position requirements.

Process Executives - India

Patra is hiring Process Executives to work at our subsidiary Patra India BPO Services in Vizag, India. Process Executives are responsible for preparing and delivering certificates of insurance to the respective parties, as well as checking insurance policies. Minimum of Bachelors degree required. English speaking and reading ability required. Day and night shifts available.
