Patra Proud Charity Golf Event Raises Over $30,000

Patra’s philanthropic earnings to benefit military families

Patra Proud, Patra’s philanthropic organization, hosted its 3rd Annual Bay Area Golf Scramble on October 15, 2018 at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club in Vallejo, CA. The charity event raised over $30,000 to directly benefit military families, providing support, including school supplies and clothing, and a scholarship program for high school seniors of families experiencing deployment.

Enthusiasm ran high as participants were regaled with golf ball cannons, TrackMan radar systems – technology that analyzes everything the club does before, during, and after impact – on-course games and entertainment, and both a putting and long-drive contest. All of this was possible due to the generous support of Patra Proud sponsors. Patra is thankful for its employees and their families who are a significant portion of the volunteers who make this and other Patra Proud events possible.

Carl oversees our philanthropic organization, Patra Proud, and is dedicated to supporting the children of military families. Patra Proud helps children though deployments, frequent long-distance moves and being away from extended family, all part of the hardships the families of our active duty military endure. Carl also does facility management and takes care of lots of people at HQ.
